SLEEP IN HEAVENLY PEACE (SHP) is a national organization founded by CNN Hero, Luke Mickleson, with an active chapter right here in Hampton. Its objective is to build bunk beds and deliver them fully furnished and ready to be slept in for families who have children without their own beds. Saint John’s has committed to build ten bunk beds to families on the Hampton SHP waiting list.  A bed building event will be held on March 28 from 9:00 am to about 1:00 pm or whenever our beds are completed. We need 20 to 25 volunteers who can work the build until all ten beds are done.  This is light work, sawing, drilling, sanding, assembling but it does require standing.  There is a signup sheet posted in parish hall.  If you have any questions, contact Ed Austin (Cell 757-897-5918 or email ten.xoc@nitsuadrawde)
