St. Anne’s Guild: Team Up 2 Clean Up and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation
In about two hours, 12 of us gathered a total of 11 bags of trash, all of which were picked up that afternoon by Hampton Clean City Commission.

THRIVE Continues to “Thrive” in Our Community
In 2020 THRIVE assisted individuals with over $246,000 for past due rent and utility bills, provided almost 79 tons of food, and financial counseling to 364 families.

St. John’s and THRIVE Peninsula Combine Efforts to Bring Christmas Cheer to Local Children
Within a week, a $5000 grant was obtained from the Charitable Trust at St. John’s and THRIVE identified the families with children in greatest need.

The Lil’ Free Pantry: Neighbors Helping Neighbors
The Little Free Pantry (LFP) program is built around neighbors helping neighbors. This would not have happened without the compassion of our youth who wanted to help their neighbors in need.

A Night’s Welcome, 2019
With a tremendous amount of help from our own parishioners and friends, we welcomed men, women, and children who currently find themselves homeless.

A Summer of Mission: Lunch Program, Rise Against Hunger and a Habitat Faith Build
This was a busy summer where St. John’s shared God’s love in action and created a time of change, of mission, of stewardship and of transformation.

Night’s Welcome Week at St. John’s, February 2018
Night’s Welcome had a very welcoming presence for the guests of H.E.L.P. the week of February 3rd through 10th. Each night brought a different number of guests ranging from 47 to as many as 61.
