The roof has been completed and received a certification from Restoration Engineering that the required work was completed according to the terms of the contract.
The stained glass windows of St. Luke and the angel Gabriel have been reinstalled. It would be nice to say how lovely they look, which they do, but on the outside they are papered over as the painters are busy stripping the window frames of paint down to the bare wood, checking for moisture and seeing if there needs to be wood replaced due to rotting. The wood will then be primed and painted.
When all the work is completed, then we can “ooh and ah” over our gorgeous windows with UV clear glass covering them. “Patience is a virtue. All good things come to those who wait. Can’t wait to see the finished products!”
