In September, Q-Design conducted two design presentations and hosted a Question and Answer session for the parish regarding the proposed renovations to the church. A total of 118 parishioners attended.
The scope of work includes two small additions (a west narthex and a north utility room) to, and a complete renovation of, the existing church building. The renovation work includes new mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems, fixtures and equipment as well as new finishes, refinishing of existing finishes, structural reframing of the chancel/sanctuary/chapel area and the tower roof, and coordination with subcontractors as to installation of new audio/visual equipment, security/fire equipment, and removal/refurbishment/reinstallation of the pipe organ and pews.
