About HELP
HELP is a faith-based nonprofit, founded in 1982 by eleven congregations and now supported by more than 60 across Hampton and Newport News. It cares for our neighbors who are struggling with homelessness and for those who can’t get affordable dental care, through shelter, a day center, and its medical and dental clinic. HELP also runs A Night’s Welcome, the winter shelter program that St. John’s provides meals for.
