The Men’s Study Group Visits the Virginia War Museum

The men of the parish gathered for a group photo among the exhibits at the Virginia War Museum

The St. John’s Men’s Study Group had a field trip on Wednesday, September 30, to the Virginia War Museum in Newport News, where the Director, Michael Moore, provided a guided tour.

The group listening in the World War II gallery, beneath a sign reading The Axis Powers
A man in a white shirt and tie pointing out a large framed map on the gallery wall

Men spread across the gallery, looking at the exhibits

Our visit was preceded by a stop at the nearby Monty’s Penguin for a great breakfast, too!

Four men talking on a sunny lawn outside the museum
Four men standing beside the bronze Four Heroic Chaplains memorial
Four men posing with the Four Heroic Chaplains memorial under the oak trees

All in all, a great morning for the MSG!
