Men’s Group Cooks Breakfast for Camp Wakonda

The Men’s fellowship group prepared breakfast for Camp Wakonda on June 21st. Campers and staff numbered around 150. The following men did all the cooking, serving and cleaning up: Whit McKinney, Jim Brake, Matt Austin, Fred Bockoven, Vestal Lewis, Bill Forinash, Joe Drewry, and Frank Edgar, Sr. We all had a great time. The following letter of appreciation was received from Anne Brockenbrough:

Dear Frank,

Thank you so much for your commitment to Camp Wakonda. Over the years, your pancakes and sausage breakfast has been a mainstay and delight for our campers and staff. You and your committee are so faithful and I appreciate all you have done to make our camp a success and our children and their families happy and thankful for a delicious first meal of the day.

Please thank St. John’s and your committee for me and I hope to see all of you next year.

With love,
Anne Brockenbrough
