The April meeting of the Vestry of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Elizabeth City Parish, was called to order by the Reverend Donna-Mae Siderius at 6:01 pm. Present were Bob Harper, Senior Warden, Bettyrene Pope, Junior Warden, Jay Hogg, Dave Foster, Bill Rhode, Sukey Stephens, Mark Stephens, Erin Pfeil, Peggy Hayes, John Chiasson, Brian McMahon, Bill Brown, Connie Heath, Rachel Pankin, and The Reverend Anna Noon. Ron and Carrie Quinn of Q Design were also present. The Reverend Bob Gay was absent.
Refreshments were provided by Dave Foster.
The meeting began with a tour of the church in preparation for the architect presentation on the church renovation. John Chiasson led the tour.
Ron and Carrie Quinn of Q Design presented progress on designs for the church renovation.
The vestry approved the March minutes as printed.
The vestry approved accepting the March financial reports as printed.
The vestry received the Junior Warden’s Report as submitted by Bettyrene Pope.
The vestry received the Renovation Committee Report as submitted by Bettyrene Pope.
The vestry approved requests from the Renovation Committee for three maintenance projects totaling $5,009 to be submitted for payment by the Mary Williams trust.
The vestry approved a request to use an additional $75 from the Memorial Fund to restore the historical sampler that was taken from the museum for evaluation.
Tacky Lights: Brian McMahon gave the Dr. Chuck light to Bill Brown, and Erin Pfeil gave the Mission light to Mark Stephens.
