Night’s Welcome
A Night’s Welcome is the winter shelter run by HELP, Inc. for our neighbors experiencing homelessness in Hampton and Newport News. Summer Lunch
A program in which we offer a free nutritious lunchtime meal to anyone on Wednesdays during fourteen weeks in the summer. Lunch is served at noon.

Rise Against Hunger
Once a year, after church on a Sunday, fifty or more of us gather in the parish hall to package ten thousand meals with Rise Against Hunger. Volunteers of every age work side by side, from young children to members in their eighties, and the whole job, from setup to cleanup, takes about two hours.…

Andrews School Sponsorship
With funds for special projects and the dedicated volunteer effort of one special committee member, a kindergarten classroom has weekly visits and extra enrichment. More volunteers would be very welcome in this project.

Lil’ Free Pantry
The youth at St. John’s wanted an outreach project that would serve their local community and be environmentally friendly, providing ready-to-eat food, 24/7, to anybody who needed it.
