Lil’ Free Pantry

The youth at St. John’s wanted an outreach project that would serve their local community and be environmentally friendly, providing ready-to-eat food, 24/7, to anybody who needed it. They went right to work and built St. John’s Lil’ Free Pantry using recycled materials.

Items for the pantry are shelf-stable, easy-open, ready-to-eat products, along with individually wrapped utensils, clean socks, and water. To contribute, place items in the pantry itself (it is a public space, so sanitize hands afterward) or in the tub by the door under the green awning of the parish hall. Online gifts can be designated “Pantry donation” in the note or memo field.
