May 8, 2008, Called meeting of the Vestry of St. John’s Church, Elizabeth City Parish.
A special meeting of the vestry of St. John’s was called to order at 7:05 PM on May 8, 2008, for the purpose of addressing and responding to a letter received from Mrs. Elizabeth Brauer, a parishioner of the church.
The vestry went into Executive Session for discussion and response to a letter from Mrs. Elizabeth Brauer.
Whit McKinney made a motion to respond to the letter written by Mrs. Brauer, that said letter be signed by the vestry members present and hand delivered the following day by the Senior Warden and one other vestry member. Motion was seconded by Scott Curtis. The motion passed.
Action Taken: the vestry voted to respond to a letter from Mrs. Elizabeth Brauer with signatures of vestry members present and that said letter be hand delivered the following day to Mrs. Brauer by the Senior Warden and one vestry member, Kay Olson.
A copy of the letter sent by Mrs. Elizabeth Brauer and the vestry response letter is to be filed with these minutes.
