A special meeting of the vestry of St. John’s Church, Elizabeth City Parish, Hampton, Virginia was held on Saturday, May 22, 1999 at The Well in Smithfield, Virginia.
Those present were: Marian Blount, Dan Clark, Letia Drewry, Frank Edgar, Sr., Billie Einselen, Richard Harman, Keith Hatch, Richard Hayes, Vestal Lewis, Leo Vaisvil, and Lew Vermillion.
Abent: Nancy Adams, Connie Heath, M. O. McKinney
The meeting was called to order at 9 am by Senior Warden Letia Drewry. Its purpose was to adopt a resolution reaffirming the purchase of Hoffman House with the inclusion of specific details of the purchase beyond those described in a similar resolution adopted on April 13, 1999. (Attachment #1)
A motion was made and seconded to adopt the resolution. The motion passed.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:15 am.
