- The Vestry met on December 11th with eight Vestry members and the Reverend Skip Hutton present. The Reverend Donna-Mae Siderius presided.
- The Vestry acted on a proposal from Frank Edgar, Sr. to dedicate and name the stage area of Williams Hall after Molly Gorton Darling, who taught Sunday School on the stage for over 40 years. Ms. Darling, the grandmother of Ann Tormey, also taught Native Americans at Hampton Institute and performed many and varied philanthropic deeds in the Hampton community.
- The checking account balance as of December 11th was $3,341.54. November income
- Bettyrene Pope, Senior Warden reported receipt of $5,000 from the Downtown Hampton Development Partnership for refurbishment of the Hoffman House. The City of Hampton approved an additional $2,500. Disbursement is pending.
- Betsy Clark, chairperson of the Stewardship Committee, reported receipt of pledges
- The Vestry voted on disbursements from the one-time payment of $30,000 from the Nickerson Estate.

- The Vestry thanks John Chiasson for his continuing hard work as Junior Warden and for agreeing to chair A Night’s Welcome; all volunteers cooking and staffing A Night’s Welcome; and the staff of St. John’s for their outstanding, hard work this year.
- Scott Curtis passed the Dr. Chuck Light to John Chiasson. Skip and Betsy just can’t seem to part with the Vestry and Mission tacky lights.
