The Cookbook 2010 - $20.00
"The Cookbook 2010" is a repertoire of recipes compiled by the Church Choir and Choristers of St. John's to fund the Music Foundation and to commemorate the 400th Anniversary of St. John's. This is a beautiful cookbook, with 241 recipes - historical and modern - from Preludes (appetizers) to Postludes (desserts). Laid out like our hymnal, with names like "Bambi in the Garden of Eden" and "Good King Wences-Slush", it will delight your taste buds as well as your sense of humor.
There are histories of music at St. John's, organists, and the various organs; music trivia, psalms especially related to music. And the chapter headings are Shannon McCall original pen and ink drawings of the instruments and music-themed stained glass windows in the church. The front cover shows a hand colored pen and ink drawing of the St. Cecilia window and the back cover shows a photo of the magnificent Parsons organ.
All the proceeds will go into the Music Foundation to fund the continuation of great music at St. John's.
The St. John's Coloring Book - $10.00
Shannon McCall has created a coloring book celebrating St. John's 400th birthday. It is more than a simple coloring book - it is a folio of 24 drawings that take you through the church, and its grounds. It has child-appropriate explanations of the various scenes, windows, and items depicted. Thus it is an educational book. Shannon has invited those who color its pages to find her hidden cypher within the details of each drawing. Pages can be colored with colored pencils, crayons, or markers. Remember to "stay within the lines."

St. John's Replica Ornament- $16.00
The replica of St. John's Church was created by Brandywine Woodcrafts in Yorktown, Virginia. Brandywine started producing architectural replicas of buildings in 1982 and over the years has created hundreds of reproductions of well known and lesser known buildings that capture the heart. One of their first orders was from Colonial Williamsburg. It is interesting to note that Brandywine produced a resin model of St. John's for our 375th Anniversary.
